Privacy policy

Your family archive deserves thoughtful care.

This beta privacy policy explains, in plain language, what information Memories for Tomorrow handles and why.

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Overview

Memories for Tomorrow is a public beta service for creating private family archives. This policy is intended to be clear and practical. It is informational and is not legal advice.

What data is collected

The service stores information you provide, information needed to operate your account, and technical information created while the service is used.

  • Account information, including your email address, account identifier, and authentication session information.
  • Family information, including family names, descriptions, members, biographies, dates, and relationships.
  • Family content, including memory titles, descriptions, stories, documents, categories, and legacy messages.
  • Uploaded media, including photos, videos, audio recordings, filenames, file types, and related metadata.
  • Email delivery data, including recipient email addresses, delivery status, delivery timestamps, and secure recipient-view tokens.
  • Invitation and family-access information, including assigned roles and invitation status.

How data is used

Data is used to authenticate users, operate family archives, enforce family permissions, store and display memories, provide private media access, process manually triggered legacy-message delivery, and improve or troubleshoot the beta service.

Memories for Tomorrow does not currently sell family content or use it for advertising.

Who can access family data

Family content is available to authenticated people who have been granted access to that family. Owners, editors, and viewers have different capabilities. Database row-level security and private media storage help enforce those boundaries.

A delivered legacy message may be opened without authentication through its unique recipient link. That page returns only the delivered message and limited attribution. It does not provide access to the wider family archive.

Service providers

The beta uses service providers to host the application, database, authentication, private file storage, and manually triggered email delivery. These providers process information as needed to operate those services.

Beta limitations

The service is still being tested. Features, retention practices, infrastructure, and this policy may change. Users should keep independent copies of irreplaceable family content during beta. No online service can promise absolute security or permanent availability.

Your choices and contact

You can choose what family content to add and whom to invite. Questions about privacy or requests concerning your account can be sent to morganjames1986@gmail.com.
